| June 12, 2008 Local Volunteers Deployed |
Dawn Day, Emergency Services Director, and volunteer Gayle Gorman put the finishing touches on her paperwork before she is deployed to Cedar Rapids, IA. Flood waters have devastated communities spanning Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Indiana, and West Virginia. Gayle is going to be working as a Client Casework Supervisor, a role she is very familiar with after the Southeast MN flooding in August of 2007. Gorman left June 12th and is expected to be gone anywhere from 10 days to 3 weeks.

2008 CrossFest Saturday, June 28th.
Crossings Center
Lewiston, MN
Check out the website for all the bands and activities.
The Winona County Red Cross will take part in the event with a first aid station. Trained volunteers will man the station.
Christian Crossings were major donors during the August flooding and the Chapter looks forward to taking part in this event showcasing their new community center.
